<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing that can achieve a required life at low cost even if it is used in a place where electrolytic corrosion is likely to occur, such as an inverter motor (air conditioner, windmill and machine toll) or a specific environment where corrosion resistance is required.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing 1 comprises: an outer race 2; an inner race 3; and a rolling element 4. At least one of the outer race and the inner race includes raceway surface layers 2a, 3a on the raceway surface side and peripheral surface layers 2b, 3b on the peripheral surface side. The raceway surface layers and peripheral surface layers are respectively made of raw material powder including different silicon nitride. The raceway surface layers contain: 50 ppm or less Fe, 50 ppm or less Al, 10 ppm or less Ca. Each thickness (depth from the surface) of raceway surface layers is 30% or more and 50% or less of the radius of the rolling element.</p> |
