The present invention relates to a compact lens system, and more specifically, to a compact lens system used in a compact imaging device, such as a portable device or a vehicle black box. According to a compact wide-angle lens system, a first lens group having a positive power, an aperture stop, and a second lens group having a positive power are sequentially arranged toward an image pickup device where an image is formed from an object. The first lens group having a positive power comprises a first lens having a positive power, a second lens having a negative power, and a third lens having a positive power. The second lens group having a positive power comprises a fourth lens having a negative power, a fifth lens having a positive power, and a sixth lens having a positive power. If the combined focal length of the first lens group is F1 and the combined focal length of the second lens group is F2, the compact lens system satisfies 0.25 < F1/F2 < 0.5 and the brightness value (Fno) of the lens system is 2.9. |
