PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system capable of securing the comfort of a user while setting low a contract power.SOLUTION: A controller 7 of a power supply system 1 includes a function for measuring the power consumption of an electric apparatus 5 in a building 2, a function for controlling power supply to the electric apparatus 5 on the basis of the measurement value and the like. The controller 7 is configured to, when the use of a new electric apparatus 5 (new apparatus) is started, calculate total power consumption by adding the power consumption of the electric apparatus 5 (apparatus under use) which has been already used at that point of time and the power consumption of the new apparatus. The controller 7 is configured to, when the calculated total power consumption exceeds a contract power with an electric power company, reduce a power supply amount to the whole or a part of the apparatus under use to an allowable limit value for allowing the apparatus under use to operate for securing a distribution power, and to determine whether or not an insufficient power can be compensated. The controller 7 is configured to, when determining that the insufficient power can be compensated by the distribution power, secure the distribution power, and to perform power supply to the new apparatus. |
