PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a pneumatic tire which allows easy formation of a conductive path in a tire side part and pneumatic tire obtained by the production method.SOLUTION: A method of producing a tire comprises: a step of forming a carcass ply 7 whose a topping rubber is composed of a non-conductive rubber; and a step of combining the molded carcass ply 7 with other tire constituent parts to form a green tire. The step of forming the carcass ply 7 or the step of forming the green tire includes a stage of forming a conductive layer 21 from a winding end 7E to a tread part 3 on the surface 7A of the carcass ply 7. The step of forming the carcass ply 7 or the step of forming the green tire includes a stage of forming a conductive layer 22 which extends inward in the tire radial direction from the winding end 7E and is connected to the conductive layer 21 at the winding end 7E on the back surface 7B of the carcass ply 7. In the molded tire, a conductive path from the ground plane to the conductive layer 21 is provided in the tread part 3, and a conductive path from the outer surface of the bead part 1 to the conductive layer 22 is provided in the bead part 1. |
