The present invention relates to a cloud service apparatus and method for a demand response (DR) market for electricity. A management system for an electricity demand response market according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a DR server which controls a DR cloud server, one or more low usage customer appliances and a high usage customer appliance that are connected to the DR cloud server, and performs data monitoring; the DR cloud server (20) which is connected to the DR server, connected to the one or more low usage customer appliance, stores electricity usage collected from the low usage customer appliances, computes an amount of load reduction of each of the connected low usage customer appliances according to a load reduction command received from the DR server, and transmits the computed result to each corresponding low usage customer appliance; and at least one low usage customer which connects at least one load, measures electricity usage according to an operation of the load, and cuts off the load according to the amount of load reduction received from the DR cloud server. |
