PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-point seat belt device allowing bodies of occupants to be constrained in compliance with various figures of the occupants and without troubling the occupants.SOLUTION: A four-point seat belt device 1, constituted of: a right waist belt 51R and a left waist belt 51L that press the waist bone portion of an occupant being seated on a seat; and a right shoulder belt 61R and a left shoulder belt 61L that press both shoulders of the occupant, comprises: driving means (a right retractor 21R, a left retractor 21L, a right-upper retractor 31R, and a left-upper retractor 31L) that wind up the right waist belt 51R, the left waist belt 51L, the right shoulder belt 61R, and the left shoulder belt 61L; and a joint detection portion 54 that detects a state where the right waist belt 51R, the left waist belt 51L, the right shoulder belt 61R, and the left shoulder belt 61L are jointed through a buckle 53. The four-point seat belt device 1, when the joint detection portion 54 detects the joint, separates the right waist belt 51R and the left waist belt 51L from the occupant. |
