摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency domain optical coherence tomography (FD-OCT) system and method.SOLUTION: A first measurement and a second measurement are performed: in the first measurement, an object segment is irradiated with measurement light having a spectrum of a first spectrum width; and in the second measurement, the object segment is irradiated with measurement light having a spectrum of a second spectrum width. The first spectrum width is larger by at least 10% than the second spectrum width; while the first measurement is performed, the intensity of a spectrum range of light interacting with an object and to be overlapped with reference light is detected; and a width of the spectrum range is larger than a corresponding width while the second measurement is performed. Therefore, it becomes possible to minimize an irradiation damage in the object, and switch over a field of view in an axial direction of structural information on the object over a depth direction.
