PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a job execution program capable of early executing a job even when generating a log image.SOLUTION: An MFP includes: a storage unit; job execution means for executing a job based on an image (S161); RAW image preservation means for preserving a RAW image of the image into the storage unit in parallel with the execution (S161) of the job by the job execution means (S162); and log image generation means for generating a log image as an image history on the basis of the RAW image preserved in the storage unit. The log image generation means generates the log image after the end of the execution of the job by the job execution means.
