PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably hold a card module by increasing a holding force for holding a card holding member in a connector for a card.SOLUTION: A connector for a card in which a card module having an electrode pad on one face is inserted comprises: a housing in which a connection terminal contacting the electrode pad of the card module is arranged; a holding spring part for holding the card module inserted in the connector for the card; and an exhaust mechanism whose posture can be changed between a first posture and a second posture. The exhaust mechanism is at the first posture before the card module is inserted in the connector for the card, and at the second posture when insertion of the connector for the card into the card module is completed. The holding spring part can be displaced outward in a width direction of the housing when the exhaust mechanism is at the first posture, and interferes with an exhaust operation member and cannot be displaced outward in the width direction of the housing when the exhaust mechanism is at the second posture. |
