ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, ENERGY MANAGEMENT METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a power storage device under a beneficial charging/discharging strategy.SOLUTION: An energy management system manages energy of a user having a power generation device which generates power represented by a renewable energy and a power storage device which can charge and discharge power. The energy management system includes a prediction part, a creation part and a control part. The prediction part predicts a demand quantity of the user to acquire a predicted demand quantity and predicts a power generation quantity of the power generation device to acquire a predicted power generation quantity. The creation part creates a charge/discharge schedule of the power storage device to minimize a power buying cost by using a power selling profit boosting effect given by discharge of the power storage device on the basis of the predicted demand quantity and the predicated power generation quantity. The control part controls the power storage device on the basis of the charge/discharge schedule.
