The present invention relates to a chainless bicycle which drives front and rear wheels. The bicycle comprises a pedal gear which is formed on the middle part of the frame; a rear wheel gear which is formed on the rear wheel which is a rear wheel unit; a front wheel gear which is formed on the front wheel which is a front wheel unit; and a drive shaft which is provided on the front wheel unit and the rear wheel unit respectively, and connects and drives the front wheel and the rear wheel unit at the same time. A two-wheeled cycle, for example, has a drive shaft interlocked with the pedal gear and the rear wheel gear, and a drive shaft interlocked with the pedal gear and the front wheel gear. The drive shaft interworking with the rear wheel gear has one drive shaft interlocked with the pedal gear and the rear gear, while the other drive shaft interworking with the front wheel gear has two drive shafts interlocked with the pedal gear and the front wheel gear, thereby facilitating steering of the cycle. When a bicycle rider pedals the bicycle, the pedal gear is rotated by the rotary motion of a crank; the drive shaft interlocked with the pedal gear is rotated; and the rear wheel is rotated by the rotation of the rear wheel gear interlocked with the drive shaft at the same time. Thus, one pedaling operation rotates the pedal gear, the drive shaft which is placed on the front wheel connected to the pedal gear, the front gear which is interlocked with the drive shaft, and the front wheel which interlocked with the front wheel gear. Accordingly, the chainless bicycle simultaneously driving the front and rear wheels applies power to the front and rear wheels at the same time, thereby moving forward by generating power stronger than a simple bicycle driving a rear wheel. |
