PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of being utilized as a fastening tool by turning around a tool body.SOLUTION: In a power tool in which an anvil 20 turned by a hammer 22 is housed in a housing and turns an output shaft 18, the anvil 20 and the output shaft 18 are integrally configured, and there are provided the divided carrier members 33a, 33b relatively turnable on the same shaft to the anvil 20 only by a minute angle. A relief face 20a is formed at a part of the outer peripheral surface of the anvil 20, and the engagement members 37a, 37b are provided to the respective notch parts 35b of the carrier members 33a, 33b. When a tool body is manually turned during stop of turning of the hammer 22, the engagement members 37a, 37b restrict the relative turn between the anvil 20 and a lock ring 38. The lock state is released immediately after starting the rotation of a motor 4. |
