<p>Disclosed is a device discovery method, comprising: a first access node receiving a first resource configuration for device discovery, generating a second resource configuration for indicating a device discovery resource to a user equipment (UE) according to the first resource configuration for device discovery, and sending the second resource configuration to the UE. The device discovery resource is used for the UE to perform device discovery in device-to-device communication. Also disclosed at the same time is a device discovery apparatus. By means of the solution of the present invention, not only can device discovery in a cell be realized, but the mutual discovery of UEs residing in different cells can also be realized, thereby significantly improving the universality of the application of device-to-device communication, while solving the device discovery problem of device-to-device communication in a cellular communication system.</p> |
