FIELD: physics, computer engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data processing. The method of storing a compound document comprises steps of: pre-allocating, for the internal control stream of the compound document, an initial memory space consisting of continuous sectors or clusters of sectors; storing the internal control stream in the initial memory space, wherein the method further includes steps of: pre-allocating a second memory space for storing the internal control stream if the size thereof is greater than that of the initial memory space, wherein the second memory space also consists of continuous sectors or clusters of sectors; if the size of the internal control stream is greater than that of the second memory space, pre-allocating a new memory space for storing said stream according to the memory space pre-allocation strategy, wherein the memory space pre-allocation strategy is such that if already allocated memory space is insufficient for storing the internal control stream, a new memory space is always pre-allocated, and each of the pre-allocated memory spaces consists of continuous sectors or clusters of sectors.EFFECT: high integrity of storing a stream of user data.13 cl, 14 dwg |
