A locking device for a manhole is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the locking device for the manhole comprises a supporting socket combined to the lower surfaces of both sides of the manhole cover, and having an accommodation space therein, which is formed by an opening formed on one side thereof, and an inlet formed on the upper surface thereof; a catching bracket having an inclined guide groove formed thereon and inserted into the accommodation space; and a movable rod inserted through the inlet to be accommodated in the accommodation space, moving along the guide groove and transferring the catching bracket inside and outside the supporting socket so that the manhole cover is held by or released from a manhole support. |
