摘要 The present invention relates to a method for producing a home-made red ginseng extract, wherein fresh ginseng is steamed by vapor and is dried so that red ginseng with a high content of saponine is produced, and the red ginseng is extracted so that a high quality home-made red ginseng extract of which saponine components are effectively absorbed in the human body can be produced. The method of the present invention comprises a washing step (S10) of cleanly washing and trimming fresh ginseng; a steaming step (S20) of putting the fresh ginseng trimmed in the washing step (S10) on a wicker tray (15) and steaming the fresh ginseng in a steamer 9-10 times at 105-108°C for 85 minutes; a drying step (S30) of adding the fresh ginseng steamed in the steaming step (S20) in a drying chamber and obtaining red ginseng by drying the steamed ginseng at 45°C for 18 hours; a low temperature steaming step (S40) of adding 55 wt% of the red ginseng from the drying step (S30) in a sack in order to be steamed in an extractor (20) containing 45 wt% of water at the low temperature of 85°C for 16 hours; an extracting step (S50) of discharging the initial 3% of bubbles by applying 2.5-3 air pressure to the extractor (20) through the low temperature steaming step (S40), automatically extracting 2/3 of the steamed ginseng by pressure, and extracting remaining amount of the steamed ginseng by making a pressurizing plate (23) descend so as to obtain a red ginseng extract; and a packing step (S60) of packing the red ginseng extract from the extracting step (S50) in a preset standard package.
