The present invention relates to a binder for a secondary battery, includ.ing a first polymer and a second polymer having a higher weight-average molecular weight than the first polymer; to a cathode; and to a secondary battery including the binder. By using a mixed binder, the homogeneity of electrodes can be achieved while improving the dispersion of a conductive agent to enhance conductivity of the electrodes and to enhance the rate and cycle properties of the battery.
