A medicine bottle classification device is disclosed. The medicine bottle classification device comprises a storage unit to store information about a plurality of medicine bottles; an input unit to receive a photographed image of the medicine bottles; a color extraction unit to perform color processing of the received image and extract a dominant hue value; a control unit to filter the information about the medicine bottles based on the extracted hue value; a matching unit to perform matching between each image in the filtered information about the medicine bottles and the received image; and a user interface unit to display the matching results.
