Method for performing a differential thermo analysis

A sample is heated in chamber based on linear temperature program. A non-linear fitting function is calculated for measured sample temperature profile in time interval of time of measurement in question. A corrected adaptation function is calculated. The reference temperature is calculated from value of corrected adjustment function. The difference between measured sample temperature, and reference temperature is calculated from results of temperature at several points in time.
