<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power tool capable of automatically executing control according to work forms.SOLUTION: A motor housing 3 has a magnetic sensor 8 such as a hall element on an opposite surface to a foil guard 7. The foil guard 7 has a magnet 9 on an opposite surface to the motor housing 3. The magnetic sensor 8 detects a magnetic field generated by the magnet 9. A relative position between the magnetic sensor 8 and the magnet 9 changes during grinding work from during cutting work, so that a control circuit detects the relative position of the foil guard 7 by an output signal of the magnetic sensor 8, namely detects whether the grinding work or the cutting work is performed, and executes control according to work forms.</p> |
