FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: section for obtaining normal video data obtains, as normal video data, a plurality of video data fragments respectively assigned to a plurality of light sources during normal display from an input video signal. A calculation section performs predefined calculation for the plurality of video data fragments included in the normal video data to generate additional video data which are used in place of the normal video data during further display.
