The present invention relates to a method for controlling one touch calling mode of a mobile terminal capable of enabling a user of the mobile terminal to select call quality of a voice call by considering proper call costs; enabling a user interface of the mobile terminal to use a minimal area of the mobile terminal; and efficiently performing the user interface. The present invention comprises the steps of: displaying one touch call mode change menu which alternately changes a voice mode and a data communication mode according to the selection of a user on an area of a touch screen; and displaying predetermined time charge information next to the one touch change menu in the touch screen according to an area selected by the user for a mode selected by the user among the voice mode or the data communication mode. The time charge information is measured based on the mode and the area whenever the voice mode and the data communication mode are changed, and is displayed on the touch screen.
