PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, capable of dealing not only with full color photographing, using ordinary photographing and also with image recognition, using macro photographing in extremely simple structure, without having to provide a dedicated lens driving device, by eliminating the need for moving the on-axis position of a photographic lens, even for switching of the photographic mode. SOLUTION: A photographic lens (L), comprising an on-axis color aberration (δ) and the on-axis color aberration (δ) is set so that an image caused by light of a luminance color which exerts large influence on the luminance signal (e.g., green light Gr), is formed on an imaging plane (Cp) of an imaging device at normal photographing, and an image caused by light in another color that is different from the luminance color (e.g., blue light Bu) is formed on the imaging plane (Cp) of the imaging device at macro photographing.
