PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve acceleration of color conversion using hardware by a simple hardware configuration.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus performs color conversion of a pixel outputted from a comparison processing part by a color conversion part, writes the color-converted pixel in an output buffer and copies and writes a pixel value of the pixel concerned in pixels with the same pixel value. The comparison processing part includes: a first comparator 32a; a first memory 34a for storing an address of a representative pixel of a second sub-block whose comparison result by the first comparator 32a is inconsistency; a second comparator 32b; a second memory 34b for storing addresses of representative pixels of respective second sub-blocks in a first sub-block whose comparison result by the second comparator 32b is inconsistency; and read control parts 36, 37 for reading out respective pixels other than the representative pixel of the first sub-block, the representative pixels whose addresses are stored in the second memory 34b and the representative pixel whose address is stored in the first memory 34a as pixels to be color-converted. |
