PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contamination of units due to leakage and scattering of toner in the course of waste toner processing without causing a significant increase in costs and an increase in size of an apparatus.SOLUTION: A developing device includes: a photoreceptor 1; a cleaning device 6 that removes a transfer residual toner on the photoreceptor 1; a recovered toner conveying screw 24 and a recovered toner conveyance path 25 that convey the toner removed by the cleaning device 6 and recovered; a waste toner container 28 that recovers and accommodates the toner conveyed through the recovered toner conveyance path 25 by the recovered toner conveying screw 24; and a fusion roller 50 that is rotationally driven in the waste toner container 28 to fuse the recovered toner.
