PURPOSE: An insulating cap for a battery cell is provided to prevent a short between battery cells and to improve insulation, thereby providing a battery module with improved stability and productivity. CONSTITUTION: An insulating cap(100) for being mounted to one end of a battery cell(10) with electrode terminals comprises: a main body surrounding the end of the battery cell in state the electrode terminal of the battery cell is exposed; and one or more lower extended parts extended toward the side of the battery cell from the main body. The upper side of the main body comprises a connection unit acceptance part corresponding to the outer side of the connection unit so as to fix the connection unit(20) which electrically connects electrode terminals. An opening for exposing the electrode terminal is formed in the main body. |
