The non-aqueous secondary battery negative electrode mixture contains a denatured vinylidene fluoride polymer, a carbon-based negative electrode active material, and an organic solvent, wherein the denatured vinylidene fluoride polymer is a polymer obtained through radiation-induced graft polymerization so that the grafted quantity of a carboxyl group-containing monomer is 1-5 mass% in the denatured vinylidene fluoride polymer having an inherent viscosity of 1.3 dl/g.
