The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a polarizer and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a polarizer capable of increasing an adhesive formation rate of a dichroic material in a film for forming the polarizer to improve the durability of colors by comprising a boric acid compound to dyes at the dyeing step and a cross-linking solution at the crosslinking step during the manufacturing process of the polarizer, and by maintaining the concentration of the boric acid compound in the dyes higher than the concentration of the boric acid compound in the crosslinking solution.
