The device has a body (5) including a plate (2) with orifices of calibrated dimensions corresponding to respective gas flow rates. The plate includes an upstream face exposed to a gas inlet (6) and a downstream face for linking with a gas outlet to regulate the flow of gas between the inlet and the outlet. A knob (4) is rotatably mounted on the body for placing between the inlet and the outlet. Annular elastomeric seals (8) are provided on either side of the plate for sealing between the inlet and the outlet, where some of the seals are in direct contact with the plate. An independent claim is also included for a tap.
