PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolysis system which can suppress the generation of a reverse current, and an electrical insulation method for an electrolysis system.SOLUTION: An electrical insulation method is for an electrolysis system 1 which includes a plurality of electrolytic cells 2, an anolyte supply pipe 10 and a catholyte supply pipe 11 for supplying an anolyte and a catholyte to the plurality of electrolytic cells 2 respectively, and an anolyte supply hose 15 and a catholyte supply hose 17 which are respectively provided to each of the plurality of electrolytic cells 2 and connect the electrolytic cell 2 to the anolyte supply pipe 10 and the catholyte supply pipe 11 respectively. When the application of electricity to the plurality of electrolytic cells 2 is stopped, the anolyte supply hose 15 and the catholyte supply hose 17 are electrically insulated from each other. |
