The system can include at least one memory that stores computer-executable instructions. The system can include at least one processor configured to access the at least one memory. The at least one processor is configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to receive, by the at least one processor, a control instruction for a home area network (HAN) device. The at least one processor can be configured to convert the control instruction to a JSON object and transmit the JSON object to the HAN device.
