PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel chronic inflammation inhibitor or a cancer metastasis inhibitor.SOLUTION: A chronic inflammation inhibitor or a cancer metastasis inhibitor comprises one or two or more kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of (2R,3R)-2-[[(E)-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-1-oxo-2-propenyl]oxy]-3-hydroxybutanedioic acid (caftaric acid), (2R,3R)-2,3-bis{[(E)-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoyl]oxy}butanedioic acid (chicoric acid, 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)propenoic acid (caffeic acid), 2-[3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)acryloyloxy]succinic acid (caffeoylmalic acid) and (1S,3R,4S,5R)-1,3,4,5-tetrahydroxy cyclohexane carboxylic acid (quinic acid), or salt thereof. |
