METHOD FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE COMBUSTION ENGINES BY IRREGULARITIES OF FREQUENCY OF ROTATION OF CRANKSHAFT AND PARAMETERS OF START CURRENT

A method for diagnostics of diesel locomotive internal combustion engines is realized by irregularities of the frequency of rotation of the crankshaft and parameters of starting current. The crankshaft of the internal combustion engine is connected to sensor that measures the instantaneous rotary speed of the crankshaft, accumulator battery is connected to the sensor that measures the starting current. The signals for instantaneous rotary speed and starting current obtained are synchronized by the order of operation of cylinders with use of the signal from the synchronization sensor installed on the high pressure fuel pipe of any cylinder.
