The present invention relates to a polyamide-based triblock copolymer with amino acid units, a polyamide-based thermoplastic elastomer using the same, and a method for producing the elastomer. The present invention provides a polyamide-based triblock copolymer having acid units at both ends of a polyamide oligomer of which the molecular weight is regulated, and a polyamide-based thermoplastic elastomer which has the polyamide-based triblock copolymer as a hard segment and a polyether unit as a soft segment. In the present invention, the polyamide-based thermoplastic elastomer having a higher melting temperature (Tm) of a hard segment in comparison to that of the conventional thermoplastic elastomer facilitates a phase separation of the hard segment from the soft segment during copolymerization and improves mechanical strength. The polyamide-based thermoplastic elastomer of the present invention especially has amino acid units with biodegradability, so that the elastomer can be applied as an eco-friendly elastomer from daily necessities to the entire industries like automobiles, parts for electronic and electrical products, medical supplies, sporting goods, engineering and construction supplies, etc. |
