A bench vice comprises a fixed vice body (1), a movable vice body (2), a screw rod (3), a nut (4), a quick operation mechanism (5), and an operating handle (6). The quick operation mechanism (5) is used for making the screw rod (3) and the nut (4) meshed or separated to achieve a slow or quick movement. The operating handle (6) is used for operating the quick operation mechanism (5). The movable vice body (2) and the screw rod (3) are mounted into one body. Both the quick operation mechanism (5) and the operating handle (6) are disposed at a front end (101) of the fixed vice body. In the present invention, by disposing the quick operation mechanism (5) and an operating handle (6) at the front end (101) of the fixed vice body, the use and operation of a user become more convenient, thereby improving the processing efficiency.
