The life expansion apparatus for a unit cell-mounting type storage battery is independently operated in each unit cell composing a large storage battery by using only the power of a relevant storage cell which is individually mounted to the unit cell composing a large storage battery so the formation of sulfur lead oxide is prevented, a pulse for removing formed sulfur lead oxide is provided, wherein the pulse for removing sulfur lead oxide is uniform regardless of settings after a current and a PWM frequency varying with the voltage and the capacity of a relevant cell are set in a state that a duty ratio to all kinds of storage cells is fixed, a sine wave which is oscillated and decreased according to a relevant square wave is provided instead of directly providing the sine wave, so effectiveness for removing sulfate is improved while impacts on the cell is dispersed according to various states of the cell, and a deviation per unit cells is decreased.
