PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which controls lines of sight to a balcony and a building opening provided at an indoor side of the balcony while securing ventilation to the balcony, also has effects of shading downstairs of the balcony from solar radiation and includes the balcony designed in an integrated and unified manner.SOLUTION: A building 1 includes at least a plurality of stories and in the building 1, a balcony 2 is provided while protruding outdoors from a downstairs exterior wall surface. The balcony 2 includes: a floor plate 7 of the balcony 2; a horizontal member 14 which is provided at a lower side along a distal end portion of the floor plate 7; an eaves ceiling 11 which is horizontally provided between a lower end portion of the horizontal member 14 and the downstairs exterior wall surface; and a lattice plane member 22 erected at an outdoor side of the horizontal member 14. The lattice plane member 22 is disposed with an upper end extending to a predetermined height higher than the floor plate 7 of the balcony 2 and a lower end extending lower than the eaves ceiling 11. |
