PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the transmission efficiency of digital broadcast data.SOLUTION: The header of a baseband frame includes: at least one of a data length of a baseband payload and a length from the top of the baseband frame to a first user packet; and a piece of input stream synchronization information. Also, the header of a baseband frame does not include at least one of: an input stream format; a piece of single/plural input stream information; a piece of fixed/adjustable encording/modulation system information; a piece of information on execution/not-execution of null packet deletion; and an input stream identifier.
