PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator device capable of achieving miniaturization of the body.SOLUTION: One end 391 of a return spring 39, which energizes an operation member 30 to which a pedal is connected into a closing direction of an accelerator, is locked to a return spring locking surface 353 of a spring receiving part 35. The other end 392 of the return spring 39 is locked to a return spring locking surface 171 of a front surface part 17. When the accelerator is fully closed, the return spring locking surface 353 and the return spring locking surface 171 are formed to be in parallel with each other, and a first axial core line L1 of the return spring 39 is provided in a linear manner. When the operation member 30 rotates in an opening direction of the accelerator, the return spring 39 deforms in such a manner that a central part 393 projects to dead space 112 which is formed by an outer wall surface 322 of a boss part 32 and an inner wall surface 173 of the front surface part 17 and which is not involved in the rotation of the operation member 30. Thereby, the body of an accelerator device can be made smaller compared to an accelerator device in which an axial core line of a return spring is provided in a convex manner toward the radial outside direction of a rotational axis of an operation member. |
