The device (1) has a transparent support surface (5) and digital cameras (11) that are directed toward the support surface. A light source (9) i.e. LED, illuminates the support surface, where the light source and the digital cameras are arranged on opposite sides of the support surface. The digital cameras are arranged adjacent to each other, and image sections are partially overlapped with each other and connected with each other, where the cameras include a charge-coupled-device sensor and an objective. Cone angle of the light source is less than 20 degrees preferably less than 10 degrees. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting outlines of an object. |
