Hydrogen purification device (100) for removing suspended particles from a water-containing aerosol, comprises a separator comprising a first container (101) with a first inlet (103) and a second outlet (110). A hydrophilic, air-permeable material (105) and an absorber are arranged in the first container for removing the suspended particles from the aerosol and for neutralizing, when the aerosol container is pumped through the first container. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a fuel cell arrangement comprising a fuel cell, and the hydrogen purification device for supplying the fuel cell with hydrogen gas; (2) a vehicle comprising the fuel cell system; and (3) removing suspended particles from the hydrogen-containing aerosol for hydrogen supply of the fuel cell, comprising introducing the hydrogen-containing aerosol into the separator.
