PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple nursing care method capable of reducing a burden of a caregiver, particularly, a burden when transferring, and a nursing-care robot.SOLUTION: The nursing care method according to the present invention includes: laying, on a bed, a sheet 30 that has holding object parts 31 formed on both ends thereof, the holding object parts being held by arms 5b of a robot R; laying a person in need of care on the sheet 30; positioning the robot R and the arms 5b with respect to the person in need of care; causing the robot R to advance towards the bed and to hold the holding object parts 31 with the arms 5b; lifting the arms 5b by a prescribed amount; and causing the robot R to retreat from the bed with the arm lifted. |
