NOVEL LIQUID ORGANO POLYSILOXANE AND USE THEREFOR

The present invention relates to a liquid organo polysiloxane which: exhibits fluidity at at least 100°C; has a sugar alcohol modified group bonded to a silicon atom; and has a cross-linked structure comprising carbon-silicon bonds in the cross-linked portions. This liquid organo polysiloxane exhibits superior emulsification properties, and imparts a good sensation. In particular, external preparations or cosmetics which contain oil and water and with which the liquid organo polysiloxane has been blended are pleasant to use due to the likes of: the utilization of the effects of water to inhibit an oily feel; a smooth, thick texture when applied; a natural cutaneous sensation from blending well with the skin; a good moisturizing effect and a lack of stickiness.
