摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring apparatus that can accurately determine, with a simple configuration, disconnection of any of detection lines connected to individual battery cells while protecting circuits that make up constituent elements.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring apparatus comprises: a plurality of first voltage limiters 20 that are connected in parallel with a plurality of battery cells 10 via a plurality of detection lines L connected to both terminals of each battery cell 10 and hold voltages on the detection lines L connected to both terminals of each battery cell 10 at or below a predetermined first limited voltage; and second voltage limiters 21 that are connected in parallel with both terminals of each of battery blocks B1 to Bn via detection lines L connected to a positive pole side power supply line Lv1 and a negative pole side power supply line Lv2 for supplying power to a voltage detecting circuit 232 and hold voltages on the detection lines connected to both terminals of each of the battery blocks B1 to Bn at or below a predetermined second limited voltage. The second limited voltage is lower than a voltage resulting from multiplication of the number of battery cells 10 constituting the battery blocks B1 to Bn by the first limited voltage.
