The system has a receiving unit (AE) receiving an image by an imaging apparatus (1), and a processing unit (VE) spatial separately arranged on the receiving unit for processing the image. An analysis unit (AyE) analyzes the image for judgment of analysis of the image and for computation of a judgment signal. The analysis unit is attached to the receiver unit, where the analysis of the image includes part of processing of the image. Receiving of series of pictures is stopped in response to the judgment signal by the recording unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling quality of medical images.
