The device has a high-temperature circuit for thermal regulation of an internal combustion engine (1) e.g. diesel engine. Coolant circulates in the high-temperature circuit and a low-temperature circuit. An oil/water heat exchanger (4) includes a high-temperature radiator (5) and a heater unit (7) connected to the high-temperature circuit, and a low-temperature radiator (6) connected to the low-temperature circuit. Three solenoid valves (210-230) connect the heat exchanger with the high-temperature circuit and the low-temperature circuit.
