The connection element (10) has an annular collar portion (12) that is configured for attaching a flexible portion (18). A pot-shaped hollow portion (14) is arranged within a radial reinforcing structure (38). The radial stiffening structure is segmented and arranged in helically shape. A stiffening structure (36) is located within the hollow section. The radial stiffening structures are designed as radial stiffening ribs (42) on the hollow portion and the vertical stiffening structures (36) are integrally formed. An independent claim is included for a pneumatic spring.
