599943 Disclosed is a method for quantitative analysis ofβ-cryptoxanthin contained in a fruit juice or vegetable juice sample, comprising: mixing the sample with a diethyl ether solution containing an internal standard substance (such as lycopene, retinal, retinol, dehydroretinol, alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, 13-carotene, capsaicin, astaxanthin and fucoxanthin), obtaining a diethyl ether layer; adding a dehydrating agent to the obtained diethyl ether layer to dehydrate the diethyl ether layer; after the dehydration, adding an alkali solution to the dehydrated diethyl ether layer to conduct saponification reaction; after the reaction, adding an acid, allowing the mixture to stand still, and then obtaining a diethyl ether layer; and subjecting the diethyl ether layer to high-performance liquid chromatography and conducting quantitative analysis of beta-cryptoxanthin using an internal standard method. |
