PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect a surface of a nylon-coated metal member by using a simple structure.SOLUTION: A surface inspection device for inspecting a surface of a cylindrical metal member comprises: a line scanner that captures an image in the longitudinal direction of the metal member; a first roller for rotating the metal member around a cylindrical central axis; a second roller that holds the metal member together with the first roller and on which a rotary encoder for detecting a rotation angle of the metal member is mounted; and a control unit that is connected to the line scanner, a motor that drives the first roller, and the rotary encoder. |
