The present invention relates to a method of selecting a node which method inserts and stores query conditions to a query index of a sensor node, more particularly to a method in a sensor network environment which is capable of reducing the number of message generations for transmitting user queries to a sensor node by only to a sensor node which satisfies the query conditions comprises: a sensor node selection tree definition step (P10) of defining a sensor node selection tree; a data collection step (P20) of collecting data which sensor data of each sensor node is collected to a server; a step (P30) of adjusting a data region in which the sensor data and an identifier of the sensor node are inserted into the sensor node selection tree by adjusting the collected sensor data region whenever sensor data is collected in the data collection step; a query condition generation step (P40) of setting query conditions; a sensor node search step (P50) of searching a sensor node having a specific entry which satisfies the query conditions by searching sensor nodes which the generated query conditions are transmitted to and classifying the sensor nodes into terminal node and non-terminal node; and a query condition transmission step (P60) of transmitting the query conditions to the sensor node having specific entry searched in the sensor node search step.
